Wij danken Mvr. Ramaekers gedeputeerde voor ontwikkelingssamenwerking van de provincie Limburg en Mr. Hermans schepen voor ontwikkelingssamenwerking van de stad Hasselt voor de zeer belangrijke subsidies voor ons noodfonds . Ook danken we al onze FNF vrienden en sympatisanten voor de sympathie en de bijdragen. Het Handicap Centre Lourdes HCL kan zo noodhulp brengen aan gehandicapte slachtoffers van deze vreselijke ramp in het zuiden van de Filippijnen die een enorme menselijke en materiele schade aanrichtte!                

Op 28 februari presenteerde Geert de Belder van de Wereldmediatheek zijn film over "klimaatchaos in het zuiden" en ging hierover in debat met Hermes Sanctorum Vlaams parlementslid en Felix Bergers van Genootschap de Volle Maan. Onze schepen voor ontwikkelingssamenwerking Toon Hermans bracht de inleiding op de vertoning. Onze dank aan stad Hasselt - ontwikkelingssamenwerking om deze FNF activiteit mogelijk te maken door middel an een educatie subsidie.
